Smalls SAL... SAL piccolini

Some weeks ago I discovered this wonderful SAL by Stitching Lotus. Apparently it has been going on for a while and I am so happy I finally found it. It is a stitch-along for stitchers fond of smallish designs. Well, this is me! Of course I joined in straight away. LOL
Check on Heather's website for the details as it is really a lovely project. The basic is that you finish one small design each month. And to begin with, my choice was the fantastic kit I received as a Christmas gift from a very sweet friend. She knows me so well, doesn't she? The kit is called Tiny Thatched Cottage Scissor Keeper, by Sue Hawkins) and it is incredibly fun to stitch. I loved every stitch. Sewing it up was a bit fiddly as it is very small, but the result is definitely worth the effort. I put a couple of tiny bells inside, and now I love the tinkling sound they make when I use my scissors. It's pretty, isn't it?

E' adorabile, vero?
